House Painting. This project is regarding the painting of the interior house. Each area painted will receive one coat of primer and two coats of finish color paint. If two coats are insufficient and the old color bleeds through, the contractor must add additional coats as required. Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and other structures On this project there are areas in the home that will need to be repaired: Dining room Ceiling, Foyer, Ceiling and various areas throughout the residence. Smooth surfaces using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool, and remove old paint from surfaces using paint remover, scraper, or wire brush to prepare surfaces for painting. Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler, using caulking gun and putty knife. Remove fixtures, such as pictures and electric switch covers, from walls prior to painting. Spread drop cloths over floors and room furnishings, and covers surfaces, such as baseboards, doorframes, and windows with masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting. Paint surfaces using brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers. Erect scaffolding or set up ladders to perform tasks above ground level. Minor taping and sheet rock repair may be necessary.
