Description

This portion of the project is to replace 9,599-feet of waterline in the Old Grants district of Grants New Mexico with 8, 10, and 16-inch PVC waterline via open trench and horizontal directional drilling. This portion of the project also includes 39 service line tie-ins and 2 Air/Vacuum Valves. All service connections will be replaced with new service lines, existing meter cans and meters are to remain in place. This portion of the project crosses NMDOT ROW at 4 crossing locations. All fire hydrants in the project area will be replaced, and additional hydrants will be added as specified on the Plans, for a total of 11 hydrant assemblies All questions about the meaning or intent of these documents shall be submitted only to the Engineer of Record, stated above, in writing for interpretations.
