Description

Full mat Hot Mix wedge of LL Townline Rd from the City of Mauston line towards Mile Bluff Rd approximately 1.54 mile, (this is a LRIP Project). 1. LRIP Project: LL Townline Rd (approx. 1.54 miles beginning at City of Mauston line towards Mile Bluff Rd. This 1.54 mile of LL Townline Rd shall be bid for full mat Hot Mix wedge application over a hard surface to include cost per mile x 22 feet in width, thoroughly cleaning the existing surface. Apply tack coat and 5 MT 58-28 S hot mix asphalt wedge an average compacted thickness of 1 inch at road center to 1.5 inches to existing road surface edge uniformly over full-width of surface. Supply and install an average 2-foot wide, 3/4" dense, limestone gravel shoulders, based on 3-inch thickness compacted with a shoulder machine. Additional necessary costs to complete the job. Any substitutions must be listed on bid. 2. Road shall be crack sealed (marked cross cracks only) prior to wedging. Crack Seal should be bid by the pound for the full length of job described above in #1 approximately 1.54 miles on LL Townline Rd 3. Bids should include sawing or milling for approximately 8 driveways for butt joints and 1-foot wide asphalt kickers where needed. 4. Culvert work-saw cut, remove old culvert and replace with new culvert, washed stone and gravel and create basin on the west side of LL Townline Rd to allow for increased water flow capacity 5. Bids should be itemized and include price per ton for hot mix wedge, tack, gravel & shoulder machine use, culvert removal & installation and excavation work. Culvert work may also be bid separately. Culvert shall be purchased separately from Juneau County by the town.
