Scope - The Project or Work consists of a replacement flow and pressure meter vault with accommodations for water quality monitoring and valves and connectivity to facilitate isolation and hauling of flows upstream of the Elizabeth River Crossing (ERC) (SF-221) adjacent to the abandoned diversion structure at Virginia Port Authority (VPA) Portsmouth Marine Terminal (PMT). The Project also involves demolition and abandonment of the former outfall structure at the VPA PMT at Pinners Point. A second vault for pressure metering and water quality monitoring will be installed on the downstream side of ERC in Norfolk on Redgate Avenue across from the City-owned Fergus Reid Tennis Park.
