| Description | The Scope of Work includes the following three sites: Site 1: NE Nat Avenue Approximate Paving Length: 0.20 miles Limits: NE Fiveash to End of Maintenance Description: Work includes asphalt paving of 2.5-inches Type S-3 (average), milling for connections, driveway turnouts, sod, embankment for drop-off correction and painted stop bar. Site 2: NW Girl Scout Road Paving Length: 1.05 miles Limits: NW County Road to End of Maintenance Description: Work includes asphalt paving of 2-inches Type S-3 (average), milling for connections, driveway turnouts, sod, embankment for drop-off correction, painted stop bars and excavation and restoration of dip areas in two locations. Site 3: SE Hargrave Street Paving Length: 0.39 miles Limits: SE Airport Road to Sta. 21+94 Description: Work includes asphalt removal of existing asphalt and Type S-1 patches in identified areas, Type S-3 overlay, milling for connections, driveway turnouts, thermoplastic road striping and special emphasis crosswalk, rumble strips and signage. Site 4: Brew Park Entrance Road Approximate Paving Length: 0.06 miles (subjection to adjustment) Limits: SE Hargrave Street to location shown Description: The work includes finish grading of the existing millings/road base and installation of 2” Type S-1 asphalt. It is the intent of DeSoto County to pave as much of the entrance road as possible for $25,000. The County will adjust the limits using the unit costs in the bid as needed to maximize the paving for this amount without exceeding this budget. Sod and thermoplastic stop bar at SE Hargrave is included. For all sites, the Contractor is responsible for maintenance of traffic in accordance with the Plans, Technical Specifications and FDOT Standard Plans. |
