Description

Your firm is invited to submit an offer under seal to Owner for the asphalt paving of the Lawrenceburg Head Start facility located at 241 East Taylor Street, Lawrenceburg, TN. Project will be completed within 170 calendar days. All bidders are required to prequalify to the requirements described in Document 002113- Instructions to Bidders. The work includes preparation and grading for new asphalt pavement and installation of new asphalt parking areas as well as asphalt overlay of portions of the existing parking lot. The work also includes striping, parking signage, and concrete wheel stops as indicated on the plans. Removal of existing asphalt and installation of concrete sidewalks and pads are by others. The work performed under this Contract is part of a larger project. Bidder shall coordinate work with other exterior improvements and site work being performed by the owner and other Contractors. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total construction cost. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 002113- Instructions to Bidders. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement the form as appropriate. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for the period of 30 days after submission. All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by the Contractor Licensing Act of 1976 (T.C.A. Title 62, ch.6). Only bids in a sealed envelope with the information provided in the Instructions to Bidders will be accepted. Prevailing wage (Davis Bacon) rates for Lawrence County TN apply to the contract for the prime and subcontractors. TN20220053 Mod 1 Lawrence County Building and TN 20220124 Mod 1 Lawrence County Heavy. It is the policy of South Central Human Resource Agency to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 19678, 49 CFR, Part 21.
