Description

The SLPJOC currently operate the Standley Lake raw water pipeline that consists of approximately 35,000 linear feet of 48-inch diameter pre-stressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP). The pipeline extends from Standley Lake Reservoir to the Northglenn Water Treatment Facility located at approximately 112th Avenue and Alcott Street. This pipeline was constructed in 1979 and supplies up to 20-million gallons per day (MGD) to Thornton and up to 20 MGD to Northglenn. This is the sole raw water supply pipeline for Northglenn. The SLPJOC oversees the operation and maintenance of the jointly owned and operated Standley Lake pipeline.
