Description | As of February 13, 2023 BASE PROPOSAL - $3,300,000 ALTERNATE PROPOSAL - $4,300,000 Weatherford Independent School District will receive Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) for the "Weatherford ISD Grizzard Regional Institute of Technology (GRIT)" a new automobile technology facility for early college high school program. This will be located on the existing WISD 9th grade campus site located at 1007 S. Main St., Weatherford, TX. 76086. The CSP 220304 must be noted on the envelope. Scope of work includes demolition of e x i s t i n g c o n c r e t e p a r k i n g lot, landscaping, new driveways and a new one-level structure of pre-engineered metal building. The interior spaces include office, restrooms, storage (including a mezzanine level) with an automotive shop with 8 vehicle lifts (double stacked) in the Base Proposal and 4 additional vehicle lifts (double and single stacked) in the Alternate No. 1 Proposal. The work covered by the specifications includes furnishing materials, labor, transportation, tools, permits, fees, utilities, and incidentals necessary for the complete installation of work required in the Contract Drawings. B. It is the intent of the Contract Documents to provide an extension of the existing installed systems interfaced with new systems, complete in every respect. C. The Contractor shall be responsible for coordination and proper relation of his work to the building structure and to the work of all trades. The Contractor shall visit the premises and thoroughly familiarize himself with the existing site conditions, details of the work and the working conditions, and verify dimensions in the field. The Contractor shall advise the Engineer of any discrepancy prior to bidding. The submission of bids shall be deemed evidence of the Contractor's site visit; coordination of existing conditions and include consideration for existing conditions. D. Provide line-by-line specification review for each Division 27 section annotated to certify compliance or deviation. |
