Description | TO: POTENTIAL BIDDERS Firms are invited to submit lump sum bids as described herein for the construction of a new softball field at Jenks Public Schools Middle School. All bidders are required to prequalify to the requirements described in Document 00 2113 - Instructions to Bidders. Project Description: Construction of a new softball field. To include site demolition, earthwork, concrete pavement, fencing, irrigation, sod, infield surface, and athletic equipment. Reference the Construction Documents for a complete scope of work. Project Location: 1. Jenks Public Schools Middle School 3019 East 101st Street Tulsa, Oklahoma 74137 Bids submitted by facsimile or e-mail will not be accepted. Bids submitted after the closing time will not be accepted. Bids submitted more than ninety-six (96) hours prior to closing time will not be accepted and will be returned. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Form provided in the project manual. Questions during the bidding phase shall be addressed to the Architect. 1. Within a period prior to seven (7) calendar days before the bids are due, questions and substitution requests will be considered. Bidders are required to provide a Business Relationships Affidavit, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, Surety Bid Bond, or an irrevocable letter of credit. Refer to Bidding Documents for additional information. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities. Bids are required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 45 days after submission. The successful bidder will be required to submit statutory Payment, Performance, Defect and Maintenance Bonds prior to commencing work on the project. Pursuant to State of Oklahoma Statutes, omit state and local sales taxes on this project. The Owner will designate Contractors as Purchasing Agents for this project. Comply with all State Regulations. Owner will provide documentation to successful Contractor. The Project consists of the construction of a new softball field. To include site demolition, earthwork, concrete pavement, fencing, irrigation, sod, infield surface, and athletic equipment. Reference the Construction Documents for a complete scope of work. |
