Description | The general scope of the work includes but is not limited to: Renovate three (3) interior spaces in the Student Activities Building and seven (7) interior spaces in the Kinesiology Building for the new Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Minor exterior alterations to the exterior sidewalk at the Kinesiology Building. The School of Kinesiology will establish a Doctorate of Physical Therapy program and will renovate space in the existing Kinesiology Building and Student Activities Center for the program. The development of the spaces will allow the Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program to go through the accreditation process and scale up operations to an anticipated enrollment of 40 students. The DPT program will consist of a clinic with various support spaces adjacent and a virtual cadaver simulation lab on the ground level in the Kinesiology Building. The Student Activities Center will be renovated to provide a clinical classroom, an active learning classroom, and two flexible faculty research labs prequalification is required for this project A certified check or bid bond payable to Auburn University in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds will be required at the signing of the Contract.
