Engineering Services

Continuing contract consulting services for the County’s HMGP and CDBG-DR funded projects. The types of projects could include but not be limited to a fuel depot, safe room, water transmission lines, water distribution systems, booster station, potable water plant, roadway repair/resurfacing, vehicular bridge design, stormwater improvements, sanitary sewer collection systems, lift stations, wastewater plant, building and/or gymnasium improvements, The Engineer will be required to work closely with County staff. Task orders will be assigned on an as needed basis and may include but not be limited to the following types of services: 1. Wetland delineations and permitting 2. Survey services by a Professional Surveyor licensed in the State of Florida 3. Engineering design services by a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Florida 4. Preparation of plans, technical specifications, and cost opinions 5. Preparation of permit applications to FDEP, ACOE, FDOT, and other regulatory agencies including permit compliance and monitoring 6. Geotechnical sampling, data collection, and evaluation 7. Owner representative/agent during construction 8. Construction administration and inspection support 9. Project certification 10. Direct reporting to the County Commission and attendance of public meetings 11. Other engineering issues as directed by the County
