| Description | 3,340 - 5/8 IN x 3/4 IN T10 water meter with encoder register and RF module installed complete 86 - 1 IN T10 water meter with encoder register and RF module installed complete 5 - All Labor & Material required to downsize plumbing for existing 1 IN meter to make compatible with T10 5/8 IN x 3/4 IN meter 250 - Remove and Replace Inlet Valve 3/4IN Salvaged Meters Credit The work of this contract includes, but is not limited to: Removal and disposal of existing 5/8 IN x 3/4 IN through 4-inch water meters and installing new water meters, absolute encoder registers, wiring and radio frequency (RF) modules. The Borough under a separate contract purchased the new water meters with absolute encoder registers and RF modules. Furnishing and installing piping, water valves, couplings, and other required fittings to facilitate Non-Standard meter installations. The Contractor shall be responsible for all cost resulting from the removal and disposal of the existing meters and installation of the new Neptune water meters, absolute encoder registers, wiring and the RF modules, including without limitation, all labor, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to arrange appointments, remove and install water meters, and confirm that the meters are operating properly under this contract. The work performed under this contract shall comply with all the requirements of the American Water Works Association Standards, Uniform Construction Code, Chapter 23, Title 5, Standard Plumbing Code of the Borough of Fair Lawn, Ordinances and Laws of the Borough of Fair Lawn, 2007 U.S. Customary English Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the New Jersey Department of Transportation as currently amended and co-related specifications as stated in the general conditions. | ||
