Animal Science Barn Roof Replacement

Scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: Demo: • Remove existing shingles, gutters and down spouts. Roof: • Install 30-year Titanium UDL underlayment over plywood and shall follow Titanium installation instructions. • Basis-of-Design is from American Building Components. Installation standards must be based off of ABC 29-gauge steel panel (see attached). • Install a 29-gauge steel panel (Imperial Rib) • Samples: For each type of metal panel indicated. • Wind loads shall be calculated by the manufacture and submitted as part of the shop drawings for approval. • Contractor shall repair or replace components of metal panel systems that fail in materials or workmanship within five (5) years after the substantial completion date has been met. • Contractor must provide Shop Drawings with approval from WVU project manager before installation begins: Include fabrication and installation layouts of metal panels; details of edge conditions, joints, panel profiles, corners, anchorages, attachment system, trim, flashings, closures, and accessories; and special details. • Install new gutters and downspouts. Furnish and Install underside insulation replacement. Allowance: • Install 5/8” OSB plywood - 1,000 Sq. Ft. (For existing decking that maybe damaged) • Provide submittals to WVU Project Manager for product approval. • Contractor is responsible for clean-up, removal and disposing of all their materials.
