Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Walton Hills, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway. Each Bid must contain the full name or names of the party or parties making the same, with an affidavit as to interested parties and in the case of a corporation not chartered in Ohio, with a proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio. Each bidder is required to furnish with its Proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code or a certified check or cashier's check equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, payable to the Village of Walton Hills. The Bid security in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The Bid Guaranty will be held, if the Bid Proposal is accepted, to guarantee a Contract will be entered into in accordance with ORC 153.54. The price of material and labor bid for shall be separately stated Additional sets of bid documents can also be ordered for an additional cost by visiting electronically emailing seblue@seblueprint.com, calling 216-241-2250 or visiting an SE Blueprint location. Bidders must use the printed forms of Proposal available aforesaid, as none other will be accepted. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, The Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond or check, as the case may be, will be held as a guarantee that, if the Bid Proposal is accepted, a Contract will be entered into between the bidder and the Village of Walton Hills, and the performance of such Contract secured by said check or bond. In default thereof said bond or check, and the amount represented thereby, shall be forfeited to the Village of Walton Hills as liquidated damages. Council of the Village of Walton Hills reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable to the Village.
