Contractor Awarded Address: Merritt Island, FL 32953-4827 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $2742500.00 Project: The USDA Forest Service, Apache--Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement for NFSR 100 Road Reconditioning, Aggregate Surfacing, and Road Stabilization on the Black Mesa Ranger District, Coconino County, Arizona. Work will include re-establishing the road template on NFSR 100, furnishing and placing a 4 inch lift of aggregate base material (3/4 inch minus), and stabilizing 4 inch aggregate with 80/20 lignosulphonate/magnesium chloride blend product. Placement of materials will occur from the intersection of NFSR 169 and NFSR 100 (MP 7.28), north for approximately 5 miles to mile post 2.28. Additional road reconditioning will continue on NFSR 100 as funding allows in 0.1-mile increments as shown in the Schedule of Items. Magnitude of project: Between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This solicitation is set-aside 100 percent for Small Business under the NAICS 237310 ($39.5 Million). Award will be based on Best Value - Tradeoffs. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract. No Formal Site Visit will be scheduled. Roads in this area of the forest are closed until after April 15, 2022. However, unofficial site visits requests may be made with Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), Paul Gerber (contact via email: paul.gerber@usda.gov) after April 15th up through May 10, 2022. Notify the Contracting Officer if requesting an unofficial site visit from COR: warren.abbott@usda.gov. Offer Submission: Interested parties should submit an offer in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. Responses to this solicitation should be sent by email in electronic format to the Contracting Officer. All submittal and deadline requirements shall be met by use of email: warren.abbott@usda.gov.
