West Hollow Road Paving Project

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Nescopeck, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway. Bids are invited for the following contract: WEST HOLLOW ROAD PAVING PROJECT for approximately 14,700 square yards of roadway. Base Bid is Full-Depth Reclamation (FDR) with Bituminous Overlay. Alternate Bid is Pavement Milling, with Binder and Wearing Courses. Prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. Any contractor, who does not do so and submits a bid, does so at his own risk. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of their bid amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of their bid amount within 15 days of the contract being awarded. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a two-year Maintenance Bond for 100% of the contract amount. The project is funded by a grant from the Local Share Account (LSA) Program Grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority and all requirements of this Authority are to be met by the Bidders. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. In this period of time, no Bidder may withdraw their Bid.
