Description | This project proposes to rehabilitate 10,596 feet of 6 to10-inch vitrified clay sewer pipes located in the western portion of the Sinaloa Lake area. The primary rehabilitation mode will be cured-in-place slipliner. . Project is included in the City of Simi Valley's FY 2022 - 2027 CIP. As of June 22, 2022, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Design is proposed to be completed in June 2022 and construction is proposed to be completed in March 2023 *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available. Project locations: E. Bonita Drive, Cadiz Drive, Shopping Center southeast of Madera Road and Royal Avenue, Capri Drive, Carmel Drive, Hacienda Drive, Sinaloa Lake Area west of Laguna Drive. The scope of work is comprised of the rehabilitation of 6,307 feet of the existing 8-inch sewer pipes with cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, including installation of temporary sewage bypass pumps and sewage bypass piping system, manhole steps removal, manhole cover and frame replacement, infiltration mitigation, mineral deposits removal, traffic control, and all appurtenant work.
