Campus Recreation Carpet Replacement Project

Work consists of furnishing all materials, accessories, equipment, tools, transportation, and performing all services and labor required to execute removal and installation of new tile carpeting as specified herein, for the University Campus Recreation Center. Project consists of three (3) different areas and includes new cover base and transitions between spaces. 3.1 Area 1 - Texas and San Antonio Rooms (meeting rooms): approximately 382 sq. yds. Area 2 - Paseo Lounge: approximately 96 sq. yds. / includes installation of VCT: 45 sq. ft. Area 3 - Video Lounge: approximately 96 sq. yds. 3.1 Alternate Equivalent. UTSA’s goal in mind is to seek a vendor that can provide carpet tiles from Mohawk Group brand specified herein to establish the University’s minimum critical requirements and performance standards. Alternate equivalent product will be considered. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to show proof of products equivalency. 3.2 The Project site and location is at the main campus of UTSA, Once UTSA Circle, San Antonio, Texas, 78249.
