Description

Fairview Avenue Storm Culvert Rehabilitation The Project includes the following Work: The Project consists of furnishing labor, materials, and equipment for the rehabilitation of approximately 370 Linear Feet of 60" CMP Storm Sewer in the City of Hornell. The bid project includes the cleaning and cured-in-place (CIPP) lining of approximately 370 Linear Feet of 60" CMP Storm Sewer, including sewer cleaning, pre and post-video inspection, trimming of two protruding CMP blind connections, reinstatement of the two blind connections, and temporary sewer flow management (as needed). Sealed Bids are requested for the following Contract: A single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Project has an expected duration of 53 days. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bidding Documents may be examined at the offices of MRB Group (The Culver Road Armory, 145 Culver Road, Suite 160, Rochester, N.Y. 14620), and the City of Hornell (82 Main Street, PO Box 627, Hornell, New York 14843), on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Bidding Documents will not be available from MRB Group or the Owner. Instructions to Bidders. The City of Hornell, Steuben County, New York, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract.
