Michigan Drive Lift Station Improvements

The project is located at 1648 Michigan Drive, Evansdale, IA 50707. Bids received after the deadline for submission of bids as stated herein shall not be considered and shall be returned to the late bidder unopened. The City of Evansdale Council at its meeting at 6:00 P.M. on the 19th day of July, 2022, in the City Council Chambers, 123 North Evans Rd., Evansdale, Iowa, 50707. This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation, and labor needed to complete the improvements as follows: 1. Removal and demolition of existing sanitary lift station equipment including pumps, piping, electrical equipment, conduit, and all other existing items called to be removed in the Drawings. 2. Demolition of existing package lift station dry well and existing wet well cover. 3. rehabilitation of an existing wet well including new grout floor and fillets, coating of the wet well interior, raising and installation of new wet well cover. 4. Installation of new pumps, discharge piping, guide rails and other appurtenances. 5. installation of new valve vault structure, associated piping and valves. 6. Installation of new electrical systems, duplex lift station controls, standby power system, associated conduits and wiring. 7. Associated site utility work and underground piping. 8. All bypass pumping and traffic control required for the completion of the project. 9. All other work required by the Contract Documents. Est. Value: $ 475,000.00. Plans and Bidding Documents will be available starting June 22nd, 2022. Payment will be refunded if the Plans and Documents are 1) returned within fourteen (14) days after the Award of the Project and 2) the Plans and Documents are in a reusable condition. If they are not returned, or returned past the deadline, or are not in a reusable condition as judged by the Engineer, the deposit shall be forfeited.
