Description | Construct Interceptor Sanitary Sewer No. 500, Phase Three Rehabilitation, Section One: S-500 MH 4 to MH 6, Section Two: Swan Creek Siphon The County intends to issue one contract consisting of Two (2) Sections as detailed following. Section One: The Contractor shall furnish materials, labor, tools, material, equipment, all bypass operations, debris removal and incidentals that are required to rehabilitate the S-500 Interceptor Sanitary Sewers and Structures (MH 4 to MH 6) as listed in the contract drawings and specifications. The project is located along Jerome from approximately Russell Roads northerly to the Norfolk Southern Railroad. S-500 MH4 to MH6 with approximately 1560 feet of 90 Sewer to be rehabilitated. Section Two: The Contractor shall furnish materials, labor, tools, materials, equipment, all bypass operations, debris removal and incidentals that are required to clean and televise the twin 60-inch Swan Creek Siphon and the two chambers (approx. 170 feet) as listed in the contract drawings and specifications. The project is located along Strayer south from Salisbury Road. Flow to the Lucas County Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) must be maintained. The contractor shall be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates established by the federal Davis-Bacon Wage Determinations issued by the Department of Labor. This procurement is partially funded through loan and grant from the Ohio EPA DEFA WPCLF and the Ohio Public Works Commission. The provisions of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) 123:2-3-02 through 124:2-9 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity on State Construction Contracts and State-assisted Construction Contracts, and OAC 123:2-3-02 through 123:2-9 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity and Female Utilization Goals are applicable to this project, and each contractor will be required to comply in all aspects of these provisions. This procurement is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs).
