In order to perform the work, Bidders at the time of the Bid Opening and for the duration of the project shall possess a valid California Contractor's license and certifications in order to qualify to perform the Work: Class B General Contractor. Construction of a new single-story building for the automotive, body and paint, and diesel mechanic shop spaces with classrooms, administrative offices, lab facilities, library/media room, tool room, and restrooms. The work includes associated civil, landscape, architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, fire protection, low voltage and furnishings as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications. Includes associated sitework, landscaping, reconfigured campus entrance and demolition of two existing buildings. The District is asking experienced and proven General Contracting firms to have been pre-qualified through Quality Bidders prior to bid submission.
