STH 72, Ellsworth - Downsville, Pierce/Dunn County Line to STH 25

Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to December 2022. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Solicitation ID: NW-01 County :17 - Dunn County Limit : Pierce/dunn County Line to Sth 25 Anticipated Construction Cost: $5,000,000-$5,999,999 The pavement needs treatment to extend the service life and minor culvert/structure work The perpetuation project will mill and overlay with HMA approximately 10.084 miles from Pierce/Dunn County Line to STH 25 in Dunn County. Other work includes adding riprap to culvert C-17-0967, seal joints on culvert C-17-0966, replacing wing walls on bridge B-17-0121, roadway culverts cleaning and lining, beam guard replacement, gravel shouldering, roadside clearing, pavement markings, and restoration. Roadway operations may be improved at the intersections of STH 28 and STH 57 - potential realignment, WIS 57 and CTH U - restricted crossing U-turn (RCut, STH 57 and CTH C - slotted left turn lanes, and STH 57 and CTH J - single lane roundabout. Major tasks include preliminary design, review of environmental impacts, drainage analysis, final design, secondary ICE analysis and PS&E preparation.
