Design-Build Services for Volunteer Fire Station

Scope of Work: The new facility shall be an approximately 4500 SF wood building and should also include: 1) Three-bay apparatus room for fire truck and equipment storage 2) Three (3) fire engine bay. The bay shall have four 12 ft. wide by 14 ft. high power operated overhead doors. Doors shall be insulated steel/metal sectional doors,with one section containing vision panels at eye level. 3) One personnel entrance/exit located at the front of the building, one on the left side of the building, one at the back of the building and two for the dividing wall. Door will be needed for the office, and bathroom. 4) There will be two windows on the front right side and two on the right side of the building in the large training room. 5) Provide metal liner panels at exterior walls of bays. Panels shall extend from floor level to 8’-0” above finished floor. 6) Exhaust fan in the bay area (ventilation per code requirement). 7) Brick veneer, knee-wall around the foundation. Please provide as a unit cost that can be subtracted from the bid, if necessary. 8) Standing seam, metal roof 9) Concreate to be sealed through out building 10) Electrical ran with outlets throughout the building. 11) 4 drop cord reels from ceiling for trucks 12) 1 ADA compliant bathroom with shower 13) Heating and cooling to be coordinated with Edwards Heating and Cooling, for finished area. Propane heater required in bay and bay must be kept a minimum of 50 degrees in winter. 14) 200amp breaker panel. 15) Septic Tank with possibility of using current septic. 16)Outside metal exterior. 17) (4) Drains in the bay area for drainage, this can be drained out into a field.
