Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Francis, Minnesota. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility. Installation of Audio Enhancement + Replacement of Video Cabling Issued by ISD 15 (St. Francis Area Schools) Representative Andrew Charrier ISD 15 (St. Francis Area Schools), a public school district in Minnesota, needs to install sound systems and is accepting proposals from certified Audio Enhancement installers in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP). Our goal for this project is to: Install Audio Enhancement Sound Systems. 167 classroom locations, including amplifier, speakers, and receivers. Tested with all mics and inputs in each classroom. HDMI Retrofit. Remove existing VGA cabling and xtures, replace with HDMI cables, connected and tested with classroom projectors and sound systems. Receive, Stage, and Deliver Equipment for Installation An estimated 49 pallets of equipment will be delivered. These will need to be broken down and organized and shipped to each school location for installation. The objective of this Request for Proposal is to locate a source that will provide the best overall value to ISD 15 (St. Francis Area Schools). With price being a significant factor, the Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the Respondent(s) whose submittal(s) is deemed most advantageous to the School District, upon approval of the School District Board of Education. The following submission guidelines and requirements apply to this Request for Proposal: 1. First and foremost, only qualified individuals or rms with prior experience in similar projects should submit proposals in response to this RFP. 2. Bidders who intend on submitting a proposal should notify the representative identified on the cover page of this RFP no later than (add a corresponding date). 3. As part of their response, bidders must specify at least (add a corresponding number) projects that are substantially similar to this one. Please provide references for these projects as well as examples of your prior work. 4. Prices stated are F.O.B. destination. No further allowances shall be made for freight and delivery charges. 5. A technical proposal must be not more than (add a corresponding number) pages long. It must provide an overview of the proposed solution as well as resumes of involved personnel. In addition, the technical proposal should include a suggested schedule and milestones, as applicable. 6. A price proposal must be not more than (add a corresponding number) pages long. It should indicate the overall xed price for the project as well as hourly rates and the estimated total number of hours, should ISD 15 (St. Francis Area Schools) decide to award a contract on an hourly rate basis. 7. Proposals must be signed by an authorized representative of the bidding rm. 8. All costs associated with developing or submitting a proposal in response to this Request, or to provide oral or written clarification of its content shall be borne by the respondent. The School District assumes no responsibility for these costs. This RFP does not commit the School District to pay any costs incurred in preparation or submission of a response or in anticipation of a contract. 9. Proposals must be received prior to (add a corresponding date) and remain valid for (add a corresponding number) days. 10. ISD 15 (St. Francis Area Schools) reserves the right to contact any Respondent for clarification, interviews, or to negotiate if such is deemed desirable by the School District. 11. This RFP does not commit the School District to enter into a contract. The School District reserves the right to award one, more than one, or no contract(s) in response to this RFP. The School District reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities in the submissions of qualifications received. PROJECT SCOPE ISD15, St. Francis Area Schools, with this document, hereby requests a proposal from qualified Respondents to adequately prepare and submit a Response for the installation and configuration of the Audio Enhancement Sentinel System and HDMI cabling Contract Award / Notification to Unsuccessful Bidders June 4, 2022 The need-date for the project completion is Friday August 26 2022 . The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
