https://bcrp.baltimorecity.gov/projects-and-improvements Reptile House Renovation Address: Greenspring Avenue and Beechwood Drive, 21215 reptile house renovation Project Manager: Lance Decker, RA, NCARB, LEED AP Full interior renovation of the historic Reptile House to create new City office space. The Reptile House was originally a part of the Maryland Zoo as an exhibition site until it closed its doors in 2004. These renovations will be a complete interior transformation into useable office space while maintaining the look and feel of the original building. ____________________________________________________________ Principal Items of work for this project are stabilization, restoration and interior renovation of the Reptile house in Druid Hill Park including demolition of the non-original rear addition, repair and restoration of the exterior (brick walls, stucco walls, concrete vaulting, tile roof, and original wood windows and doors), minor site work, new electrical and gas service, stabilization of the main floor structure, conservation of the historic vault, removal of existing partitions and fixtures, insertion of new partition walls, all new electrical, plumbing, and gas infrastructure, and HVAC and communication systems. The MBE goal is 26% and WBE goal is 11%.
