Deer Creek Park Road Bridge Replacement

Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel. The current load rating restricts the bridge to 17 tons for legal trucks and 15 tons for special haul trucks. The existing bridge is narrow, but given the low traffic levels, serves the needs of the traveling public quite well. Record drawings have not been located. Bridge Closure: With the limited houses beyond the bridge, a road closure will be an acceptable option for bridge construction. Pedestrian access across the creek to the park will need to be maintained. The County will be able to supply a 6'x 65' steel pedestrian bridge
