Penn-Trafford High School Exterior Asset Protection Project

Masonry restoration of the building constructed in 1969 and 1995 that, over the years, has experienced water infiltration, masonry staining, masonry delamination, masonry buckling, masonry and metal sill failure, and mortar failure. This part of the project includes, but is not limited to, repointing existing, damaged mortar joints, removing and repairing existing control joints, corner face brick replacement, steel lintel repair/replacement, existing window sill repair/replacement, and application of weather seal/water repellent on selected masonry surfaces. In addition, a construction project will be performed on the "Roof Penthouse" and the Loading Dock Area, including selected demolition and redesign of the existing louvers/screens, masonry column enclosures, roof parapets, masonry enclosures, exterior finishes, and structural steel bracing. Also included is the re-roofing and relocation of roof drains at the Roof Penthouse.
