Drainage

Consist of upgrading the drainage system in the northeast quadrant of the intersection of SR 10 (US 90) and Glover Lane in Santa Rosa County (MP 10.352). Remove the existing mitered end section and install a junction box with a Type J-8 traffic-bearing manhole on a 12 inch thick bedding stone base. Use flowable fill in lieu of embankment around the junction box to an elevation above the pipe connections. Extend the existing 36 inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) side drain at Glover Lane to connect to the junction box. From the junction box, install approximately 20 LF of 24-inch RCP and mitered end section to tie into the existing ditch Northeast of SR 10 and install 30 LF of 36 inch RCP and mitered end section to tie into the existing ditch East of Glover Lane. Increase the existing radius at Glover Lane to encompass the new junction box and manhole using concrete pavement with a minimum thickness of 6-inches. Newly installed pipe locations shall be backfilled, and sod installed to match existing shoulder elevations to prevent erosion. Install riprap rubble ditch lining for approximately 300 LF eastward from Glover Lane along the ditch bottom (approximately 6), front slope (approximately 4), and back slope (approximately 4). All existing flowlines shall be maintained. Restore any damaged asphalt pavement and shoulders to pre-existing conditions. All work shall be completed within the existing FDOT right of way.
