Description

1. Demolition: - Remove bookcase & interior drywall. - Erect exterior construction blind. (Temporary 6 foot chain link fence secured to the edge of the building). - Install temporary support for the ceiling and roof. - Remove damaged masonry. - Remove sheathing board & insulation. - Support & remove load bearing studs. 2. Repair: - Install metal track & studs. - Install plywood sheathing. - Install building wrap. - Replace damaged masonry and mortar. - Install insulation. - build bookcase cavity. - Install drywall & finish. - Repair bookcase & trim out. - Paint entire room, walls and ceiling. - Repair and flooring that is damaged by the contractor. 3. Landscaping: - Remove construction blind. - Reseed construction area. Contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license under the State laws governing their respective trades and that North Carolina General Statute 87 will be observed in receiving and awarding contracts. General Contractors must have general license classification for Building Contractor with a minimum classification of Limited Building No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of 30 days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities. Bids shall be made only on the BID/ACCEPTANCE form provided herein with all blank spaces for bids properly filled in and all signatures properly executed.
