Description | Resurface (Asphalt) Sh-73: From 4.78 Miles East of the Sh-44 Junction, Extend East Near Clinton. Project Length = 5.390 Miles Counties: Custer Calendar Days: 45 Questions and comments will be accepted until January 27, 2023. Submit Any Questions or Concerns to the Office Engineer Division via: - Email: Odot-prebid.question@odot.org - Phone: (405) 521 - 2625 Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bid Bond Equal to 5% of the Bid Made Payable to the State of Oklahoma, Department of Transportation, as a Proposal Guaranty. Proposal Checks Will Be Held or Returned by the Department as Per Subsection 103.04 of the State Standard Specifications. ODOT- Call Order 445 - Resurface (Asphalt) - SH-73 PURPOSE OF CONTRACT The purpose of the Contract is to provide details for the construction and completion of the Work. The Contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract. No alterations based upon the increase or decrease in pay item quantities may be entered into that increase the length or extent of a project by more than 25 percent. SPECIAL WORK As necessary, the Department may prepare Special Provisions describing work included in the Proposal Forms. The Department will consider Special Provisions attached to or incorporated by reference in the Proposal Forms to be part of the Contract. DIFFERING SITE CONDITIONS During the progress of the work, if subsurface or latent physical conditions are encountered at the site differing materially from those indicated in the Contract or if unknown physical conditions of an unusual nature, differing materially from those ordinarily encountered and generally recognized as inherent in the work provided for in the Contract, are encountered at the site, the party discovering such conditions shall promptly notify the other party in writing of the specific differing conditions before the site is disturbed and before the affected work is performed. |
