Description | This is a marked thinning comprised of approximately 229 acres within the Lochloosa Wildlife Conservation Area, located in Alachua County, Florida. The Sale Area is in Section 9; Township 12 east; Range 22 east. Sale boundaries include roads and marked property boundary (See maps in the attached agreement). The sale consist of mature slash pine plantations that were previously thinned in 2005 and 2007. Trees for harvest are marked with blue paint at eye level. The District estimates the volume of timber conveyed in this Agreement to be 2,500 tons of pulpwood, 2,200 tons of Chip-n-saw, 170 tons of Sawtimber, but there is no guarantee that the volume is present. |
