Description

The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center is seeking professional architect/engineering firms to prepare complete drawings, specifications, observation/evaluation/technical reports, cost estimates, and services throughout construction to Renovate D-Wing for Isolation Ward. This project will renovate approximately 12,250 square feet of existing administrative offices into a 16-bed isolation ward. The design shall include a new HVAC system including a rooftop air handling unit, chiller and exhaust system all dedicated to the new isolation ward. Each room shall be capable of positive or negative pressurization as needed. The work will include demolition of existing walls and doors, floor finishes, wall finishes, casework, suspended acoustical ceiling systems, mechanical HVAC, preTAB, electrical, lighting and plumbing systems, data and communications systems and modifications to existing and construction of new walls, fire protection sprinkler and alarm systems.
