Description

For the Removal and Replacement of the Primary and Secondary Sludge Pumps at the Waste Water Treatment plant. Contractor shall Remove and Replace two (2) Existing Primary Sludge Pumps with new Flight Submersible Dry Pit Sewage Pumps with Concertor Technology, Model NT6020.181-232 with high chrome impeller and insert ring rated for 300 GPM 15 TDH, 5.5HP, 3 Phase, 460 Volt with 4 discharge and 6 suction including all electrical, piping, flanges, valves, vertical T-stand kits & rotational adapters, MINI-CAS seal fail, high temperature relay, 50 foot motor and sensor cables, pump seal fail/high temperature cables, include 6 isolation valves on intake piping, 4 check valves on discharge piping and 4 isolation valves after check valves for each primary pump, high seal temperature alarm red warning red warning indicator display lights shall be installed on existing level 5 MCC panel for each pump, ON/OFF controls shall be installed on level 4 in the primary room and also installed on the level 5 MCC panels, this item includes all labor, materials, equipment, disposal, wiring, electrical, etc. to provide the owner with a complete operating system; Contractor shall Remove and Replace two (2) Existing Secondary Sludge Pumps with Flight Submersible Dry Pit Sewage Pumps with Concertor Technology, Model NT6020.181-232 with high chrome impeller and insert ring rated for 150 GPM @ 29.8 TDH, 5.5HP, 3 Phase, 460 Volt with 3 discharge and 4 suction or approved equal, including all electrical, piping, flanges, vertical T-stand kits & rotational adapters, MINI-CAS seal fail, high temperature relay, 50 foot motor and sensor cables, pump seal fail/high temperature cables, high seal temperature alarm red warning indicator lights shall be installed at MCC panel in secondary sludge pump house, include 4 isolation valves on intake piping, 3 check valves on discharges and 3 isolation valves after check valves for each secondary pump, include install of Micromatic repeat cycle timer relays with settings for ON/OFF mins/hours to run set number of minutes every hour installed for both secondary sludge pumps this item includes all labor, materials, equipment, disposal, wiring, electrical, etc. to provide the owner with a complete operating system Contractor shall remove existing 4-inch magmeter on discharge piping and install one (1) new Rosemount 8750W 3-inch magnetic flow meter, with integrally mounted transmitter and stainless steel grounding rings to discharge; Specifications and proposal forms under which the proposed work will be performed are on file and may be examined at: C. E. Raines Company, 17700 Fort Street, Riverview, Michigan 48193 Bids shall remain firm and may not be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the actual date of opening thereof. ENGINEER shall transmit to all such Bidders of record such addenda as ENGINEER considers necessary to provide clarification, in response to questions arising therein, or arising subsequent. Oral statements shall not be relied upon and shall not be considered as legally effective or binding A properly completed Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashiers Check in a sum not less than five (5) percent of the proposed amount of the proposal submitted, shall accompany each proposal as security for acceptance of the Contract by the lowest qualified bidder. Should the Contractor fail to enter into a Contract agreement with the Owner, through no fault of the Owner, he/she shall forfeit the entire amount of the security to the Owner. GI-711 Construction shall start on or before January 30, 2023 and shall be coordinated with the plant manager. Work on pay Item 2 & Item 4 shall be substantially and Final completed, in accordance with Paragraph 14.04, General Conditions, on or before March 17, 2023. Work on remaining Pay Item 1 & Item 3 shall be substantially and Final completed, in accordance with Paragraph 14.04, General Conditions, on or before May 26, 2023.
