Description

Work shall take place in Bldg. 3840. The scope of work as detailed in the construction bid documents shall include, but not necessarily be limited to the following: 1. Installation of new LVT flooring at all apartments (including self-leveling) 2. Installation of new 2x2 bathroom floor tile (including self-leveling) at all apartments. 3. Bathroom door saddle at all bathrooms. 4. Cove base throughout all apartments. 5. Removal of old bathroom exhaust fans, including removal of remaining gypsum board ceiling (or ceiling tiles with grid) at apts. 189, 190, 192, 193, 198 and 207. 6. Furnishing and installation of new bathroom exhaust fans; including construction of soffits for exhaust fans ductwork at apts. 189, 190, 192, 193, 198 and 207. 7. Painting of 24 apartment units (ceiling, walls, doors, HVAC equipment within apartment), 8. Removal of old shelving at bathroom closet (removal of metal framing at a few locations) 9. Installation of new wire shelving (4 shelves) at bathroom cabinet area 10. Removal of old bathtubs and associated shower/bathtub controls at 3 locations (apts. 189, 190, 192) 11. New bathtubs at 3 locations (apts. 189, 190, 192) 12. Wall repairs at area where new bathtubs are installed (apts. 189, 190, 192) 13. Furnish and install three (3) new bathtub/shower controls (apts. 189, 190, 192) 14. New Swanstone FRP material for bathtub walls (apts. 189, 190, 192) 15. New Swanstone FRP corner bead near bathtub (at all 24 apt. units) 16. New bathroom area mirrors (demo and disposal of old ones) 17. Installation of new counter with integrated sinks at vanity area (demo and disposal of old ones) 18. Sink sidesplash at vanity area (demo and disposal of old ones) 19. Faucets and related plumbing at vanity area (removal and disposal of old ones) 20. Bathroom and vanity area accessories (paper holder, towel bar, robe hook, etc.) 21. New lights at bathroom (select locations, apts. 189, 190, 192, 198, 207) 22. All vanity area lights. 23. Hallway closet area wire shelving (removal and disposal of old shelving if applicable) 24. New hallway storage area light (removal and disposal of old one) 25. Furnishing and installation of new stove and refrigerator (removal by RU) 26. Removal of old kitchen light (some locations) 27. New kitchen light (some locations) 28. Removal of old living room lights (some locations) 29. New living room lights 30. Replacement of all outlet & light switch covers 31. Replacement of outlets to GFIs (1 at kitchen, 1 at vanity area) on all 24 apts. 32. Installation of new 4-wire range socket & wiring to existing 50A circuit outlet for new stove outlet. 33. Painting of building 3840 hallways and stairwells (including main entrance of building) will also be included. Painting includes, but is not limited to doors (both sides), ceiling, walls, stair handrails, stair balusters, stair stringers, ductwork/conduits/piping running on walls/ceiling and HVAC equipment that requires painting. 34. Including disposal of all demolished items. 35. Includes recycling of material as noted on construction drawings.
