Description Work is to repair sloped embankment on south side of Royal Palm Pointe Park due to damages from Hurricane Irma. An area of approximately 1600 square feet needs to have material brought in and a stable embankment slope built. Contractor responsibilities shall include: Remove debris such as wood chips, loose trash, etc from area of work. Existing Sand-Cement RipRap bags to remain Place and compact up to 108 cubic yards of general clean fill Slope embankment from existing seawall cap (toe of slope) up to top of bank. Top of Bank is shown on plans and is approximately the limits of erosion Place filter cloth from seawall cap to top of bank. Turn down filter cloth approximately 6 inches into soil and trench along top of bank. Geotextile shall be LB 2x2HF or approved equal Furnish and install up to 1,600 square feet rip-rap sand cement scrim bags along top face of embankment Restore sodded areas with floratam sod Any permits that may be required Construction access shall be from Royal Palm Point. City shall coordinate with contractor on access and impacts to landscaping. City shall be responsible for restoration of irrigation, landscaping, and utilities. Contractor shall stay off adjacent private property (hotel) and leave hotel’s gravel walkway adjacent to project access undisturbed. Any damages to gravel walkway shall be restored by contractor. Potable Water, Sanitary Sewer, and Reclaimed Water mains exist in the project area that serve the barrier island. Contractor shall take care during work to not damage existing utilities and shall call for locates.
