Description

As of August 18, 2022, project was awarded to HSC Pavement Maintenance, awarded amount is $65,141.32. The Town of Avon, Indiana will receive bids for the 2022 Crack Seal Roadway Maintenance Project in accordance with the Contract Documents, Construction Schedule and Specifications Bids received after that time will be returned unopened. The work shall consist of cleaning and crack sealing pavement cracks for streets and all other work necessary for roadway restoration and as included in the Construction Schedule and Specifications for the 2022 Crack Seal contract documents. The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashiers or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidders bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Town of Avon, Indiana. The Bidder (proposer) must supply all information required by the bid proposal form. Liquidated damages for delay will be as provided in the Bid Proposal. Work hours will be as provided in the technical specifications. Partial payment will be made monthly based on an approved payment requisition. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity, E-Verify, Non-segregated Facilities, and Affirmative Action requirements. The Town of Avon, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids. Bids may be held by the Town of Avon, Indiana, for a period of not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and the investigation of the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. It is anticipated, however, that the contract will be awarded by May 20th, 2022.
