2022 Fox Hollow and Wexford East Pump Stations Addition of Emergency Standby Pumps

In general, the work on this project consists of the addition of new emergency standby pumping systems at two (2) raw sewage pump stations located at Fox Hollow and Wexford East for the Township of Cherry Hill, Camden County, New Jersey. The Fox Hollow pump station is located at 44 Cooper Run Drive, Cherry Hill, and the Wexford East pump station at 19 Oakley Drive, Cherry Hill. This project is being bid as a single contract, but with three different base bids to give the Township the option to award either one or both pump stations. The base bid options are as follows: 1. Base Bid #1 – Fox Hollow Pump Station 2. Base Bid #2 – Wexford East Pump Station 3. Base Bid #3 – Fox Hollow AND Wexford East Pump Station. This project will be awarded at the Owner’s discretion and shall be evaluated for the lowest responsible bidder for any base bid or any base bid plus any combination of selected alternate additions or deductions. 1.02 DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. The work on this project consists of the following major components of work: 1. Provide a new emergency standby sanitary sewer pump including, but not limited to, the following major items: a. Force main pipe and related excavation and backfill, b. Pipe fittings and valves, c. Thrust blocks and utility crossing(s), d. Dewatering e. By-pass connection, f. New emergency standby pump system, g. Connection to existing electric service, h. Electric power, control, and alarm notifications, i. Units to be “critically silenced,” j. On-site lighting, k. Painting of pump leaf green color (RAL 6002), l. Site work and site fencing
