Description

The work consists of, but is not limited to: Contractor shall provide and furnish all tools, equipment, materials, supervision, labor, subsistence, rental, subcontractors, permitting, profit, overhead, appropriate taxes and any other related costs to design, construct, and close-out the project. The Contractor shall provide and furnish all tools, equipment, materials, supervision, labor, subsistence, rental, subcontractors, permitting, profit, overhead, appropriate taxes, and any other related costs. The purpose of this project is to procure a design-build (DB) team to provide construction drawings and specifications and complete the construction work for the Ocean Aero-Shed 53 Renovations Project. Shed 53 is a vacant warehouse located on the Mississippi State Port at Gulfport's East Pier. The warehouse has a total area of approximately 66,626 square feet, which includes the open main portion of the building, a shipping and receiving enclosed dock, as well as a railcar shipping and receiving loading platform on the exterior of the west side of the warehouse. The proposed modifications to the existing warehouse include converting the main portion of the warehouse into administrative office space, fabrication, electronics, and assembly space, while maintaining the existing enclosed shipping and receiving area and rail loading platform. The following potential disciplines to be determined by the Design-Build Contractor shall include but not limited to: architectural, interior & exterior finishes, structural, civil, and landscaping, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression, electrical, telecom, controls, and security systems.
