Harrison Avenue Recreation Complex Improvements

The work to be performed under this contract includes the following: Base Bid - The renovation of an existing playground complex. The new facility will comprise of fully ADA accessible playground equipment with a poured in place rubber safety surface. This contract includes only the installation of the playground equipment; furnishing of the playground equipment shall be procured directly by the Owner and provided to the Contractor; furnishing and installation of the poured in place rubber surface shall also be procured directly by the Owner. The Contractor is responsible for installation of the playground surface's sub-base. The base bid shall also include new hot mix asphalt sidewalk and the furnishing and installation of various site amenities. Alternate Bid A - Milling and resurfacing of the pavement at the multi-use court. Principal items of work in the project include: Base Bid: 150 C.Y. 3/4 Clean Stone 380 L.F. Concrete Edge Curb 200 S.Y. Hot Mix Asphalt Sidewalk, 6" Thick L.S. Playground Equipment Installation. Alternate Bid A: 900 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3" or Less 140 TON Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course
