Rosemont Improvements

Construction of safety, security and aestethic improvements at the Rosemont Transfer Center. Contractor shall pick up owner-furnished 6’ X 13’ shelters, benches, bicycle racks, and trash receptacles from Spencer Fabrications, Inc. located at 29511 County Road 561, Tavares, FL 32778 (Phone number: 352-343-0014). These are the only owner-furnished items. All other items are to be furnished and installed by the Contractor. construction of two temporary bus platforms (one northbound and one southbound) at the existing bus stops on Cinderlane Parkway just north of the roundabout at N Lake Orlando Parkway. Each temporary bus platform shall be 140’ long and be as wide as the grass strip in between the existing back of curb and existing front of sidewalk. The platform shall be constructed of asphalt pavement millings and shall be a stable, level surface conforming to all ADA requirements. Before the existing bus stop is closed for construction, the temporary bus platform shall be constructed with all appropriate detour signs being used. After the newly constructed bus stop on Rosewood Way is opened for buses, the temporary platforms shall be removed and new sod shall be placed over the area affected by the temporary bus platform.
