Monongahela Deep Tunnel Interceptor Cleaning

For Monongahela Deep Tunnel Interceptor Cleaning This contract is to provide for having a contractor perform cleaning work to remove accumulated sediment and debris from the Monongahela Interceptor and Ohio Interceptor at designated locations. The work will consist of cleaning approximately 4,750 linear feet of interceptor and the removal of approximately 440 tons of material. A post-cleaning sonar inspection will be required. ALCOSAN encourages businesses owned and operated by minorities and women to submit bids on Authority Proposals or to participate as subcontractors or suppliersto the successful bidders. Successful Bidders are to use minority or women's businesses to the fullest extent possible Bid Security shall be furnished by providing with the Bid a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% ofthe Bid Price. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond equal to the Bid Price. Contract documents must be purchased directh from ALCOSAN to qualify as an eligible bidder.
