| Description | 1. Apply a properly proportioned mixture of polymer modified asphalt emulsion, mineral aggregate, mineral filler, water, and other additives to a paved surface. 2. The Micro-Paving with Fibers (Micro-Tekk or Approved Equal) surface shall consist of a mixture of polymer modified asphalt emulsion, mineral aggregate, mineral filler, Fiber, additives and water; and it shall be properly proportioned, mixed and spread on an existing surface in accordance with plans, specifications, and as ordered by the Engineer. 3. Apply a properly proportioned mixture of quick-set asphalt emulsion, mineral aggregate, mineral filler, water, and field control additives, to a paved surface. 4. The work shall consist of construction of a single course bituminous surface treatment for both pavement and shoulders in accordance with these specifications and shall comply with Section 410-1 of the “New York State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications” . |
