Description | Project has canceled All Bids received prior to the due date and time and in proper form will be publicly opened and read in the Siskiyou Conference Room at the time set forth above as the deadline for receipt of Bids. Thereafter Bid documents shall be made available for public inspection. If the total amount of the contract to be awarded exceeds $100,000, the award of the contract must be approved by the Local Contract Review Board. A contract for work will be awarded or Bids may be rejected, separately or entirely, within one-hundred and twenty (120) days after the date and time set for Bid opening. The general character of the work for this project includes supplying all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the Taxiway Reconstruction and Rehabilitation, Project #2020-18, including, but not limited to, the following approximate quantities for major work items: Asphalt Concrete Pavement Removal - 12,500 SY Earthwork including Excavation, Embankment, & Stripping - 5,325 CY Cement Treatment Subgrade - 10,875 SY Aggregate Base Course - 3,850 CY Asphalt Mixture Surface Course - 2, 100 TONS Pavement Marking - 9,050 SF HDPE (Culvert) ranging from 8" to 15" - 330 LF Pipe Underdrains - 6,270 LF Elevated Taxiway Edge Reflectors - 127 EA Taxiway Edge Lights - 127 EA Lighted Guidance Signs - 11 EA Crack Repair (Route and Seal & Heat and Seal) - 7,600 LF Pavement Marking Removal - 3,800 SF Type I Slurry Seal - 5,275 SY All projects in excess of $50,000.00 require the Contractor to pay prevailing wage rates. This contract requires the bidder to pay the higher of Oregon's Prevailing Wage Rates or Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids in accordance with ORS 279C.395. Per Chance Metcalf while no exact estimated value is available, it is expected to be over 1 million.
