USCG Station Indian River Inlet Pier Repairs

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement to fabricate and install three exterior piling guide brackets and add structural integrity to the other three exterior piling guides at USCG Station Indian River Inlet, 39373 Inlet Road Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Fabricate and install three new galvanized piling guide brackets, to include four rubber/nonmetallic bumper pads on each guide assembly. 2. Install gussets and extra support metal to the other three exterior piling guide brackets. 3. Preparation of Surfaces: Perform the cleaning of all above water metal surfaces as recommended by SSPC-SP3, "Power Tool Cleaning". Provide rafts, nets, tarps, etc. as required to minimize spillage of debris into water. Clean and prepare areas inaccessible for power tools in accordance with SSPC–SP2, “Hand Tool Cleaning”. Use impact hand tools and wire brush to remove all rust. Wash surfaces to be painted in accordance with SSPC SP1.
