RFP - Landscaping and Buffering Regulations Update

The City of Tumwater ("City") is requesting professional services proposals from qualified Consultants who are capable of preparing an update to the City's landscaping and buffering regulations (Tumwater Municipal Code (TMC) 18.47 Landscaping) and update other relevant regulations and standards. The City's needs are outlined in the following Request for Proposal. The Consultant's role will primarily be to lead the public engagement process, provide technical expertise during the development of the regulatory documents, and support the regulatory update process. Proposals that are mailed or submitted in person must be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked in the lower left-hand corner: "Request for Proposal - Landscaping and Buffering Regulation Update." Three (3) copies of proposals that are mailed or submitted in person should be submitted. No faxed or telephone proposals will be accepted. The City's needs are outlined in the following Request for Proposal ("RFP".) TIME SCHEDULE The City will follow the following timetable, which should result in a selection of a firm by August 19, 2022: Issue Request for Proposal July 8, 2022 Deadline for Submittal of Proposals July 29, 2022 Preliminary Selection of Firm August 12, 2022 Notify Firm Chosen August 19, 2022 As of August 4, 2022, the issuance of short list of firms has not been released.
