| Description | Galvanizing and/or painting (white) is required for metal units. Wood units shall be painted white and plastic units shall be white. Barricade rails and vertical panels shall have alternative white and orange stripes at 45 degrees from the vertical. The diagonal stripes shall slope downward toward the side of the device on which traffic will pass. All stripes shall be nominal 6 inches in width.
