Description

MOSAICS Public School (MOSAICS) is preparing to build a new wing/building of approximately 2,500 - 3,500 square feet to accommodate music and band along with 2-3 additional offices in Caldwell, Idaho. Project: MOSAICS Public School currently owns the property on which the project will be constructed. The new building will be constructed across a breezeway adjacent to the existing school that is approximately 40,000 square feet. The Project includes: o Classrooms for band (1,450 sq ft), music (900 sq ft), miscellaneous instruction classroom (800 sq ft), and 2 Administrative offices (@110 sq ft each). No restrooms will be required in this building. Additional site improvements such as landscape and parking will generally be in place with the existing building but will require modification of the existing irrigation systems where the new building will be constructed. MOSAICS Public School is requesting qualifications from Design Build Firms who have proven experience in constructing public charter school facilities. The DB Firms submitting qualifications shall specify their proposed Project Team, providing resumes and designating roles and responsibilities for each team member. The proposed team will be expected to fulfill assigned roles performing at a high level from start to finish. It is the intent of MOSAICS Public School that the two (2) main components of the RFQ Selection Committee will consist of key MOSAICS Public School Administration and their Governing Board of Directors. MOSAICS intends to have the new building open for school beginning in August of 2024. The goal is to design and construct a cost effective yet quality facility, which will provide maximum benefit to each student with access to a high-quality education. MOSAICS Public School is seeking responses from Design Build Contractors licensed in the State of Idaho and in good standing, to provide their qualifications to perform certain Design Build services ("DB Services") as determined by MOSAICS Public School. MOSAICS Public School intends to construct their project using the Design Build (DB) project delivery process but reserves the right to execute their project as they see appropriate. The MOSAICS Public School "Qualification Based Selection" (QBS) will comply with the orderly process of: (1) Solicitation of professional qualifications, (2) Evaluation and ranking of qualifications, (3) Establishment of a ranked list of service providers, and (4) Negotiation of the scope of services and fees.
