Description

The proposed contract for the new council dais is expected to contain the following: Area for 11 people. Bulletproofed Level III Body Armor. Divided in sections that can be assembled before meetings and wheeled on and off stage, and entered through back stage double door. (P-11, P-13) Stations for monitors at such a level that they allow councilmembers to see the screens and to communicate with the audience without being covered. (P-9) Dais position in stage must be close to utility box on stage floor, but leave it available for cable connection. (P-15) Dais' segments must have openings or conduits for cable connection. (P-10, P-12) Transportation of dais to Takoma Park. Assemblage of dais modules at Community Center Auditorium Stage.
