Description

The projects generally include overlot grading, erosion control, sanitary sewer, potable water, storm sewer, concrete curb & gutter, sidewalk, asphalt paving, signage, and all related work incidental to the completion of the project as per the acceptance requirements of Kinston Metropolitan District No. 1 and City of Loveland. The project is located in the vicinity of Kinston Parkway and Centerra Parkway in Loveland, CO. Work is anticipated to start August 1, 2022. All bids duly received and in proper form will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after 3:00 p.m. will be rejected and returned to the bidder. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid is required with each bid. Performance and payment bonds will be required of the successful bidder from a qualified surety. Bidders must possess the required licenses and insurance policies. Each bid must be accompanied by a qualification statement demonstrating present commitments, past performance, experience with comparable work, equipment available for this project, and resumes for key personnel who would be assigned to this project. No bid will be accepted from any firm, person, or corporation who is a defaulter to a surety or is deemed incompetent, irresponsible, or unreliable by the District. Each bid must be accompanied by a subcontractor and supplier list for proposed labor, services, and/or materials. Bidding contractors must self-perform a minimum of sixty percent (60%) of the work. The District may choose to schedule interviews with select bidders following the bid opening. Basis of the award of the contract will be to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder as solely determined by the District. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid or combination of bids which in its sole and absolute judgment will best serve the District's interest.
